Night/Light painting evening
An evening under the night sky taking images of buildings etc, using your camera to get some amazingly detailed images of the building hopefully including some stars as well.
- The course will include focusing in the dark
- Setting up your camera
- Camera settings in manual mode
- Light painting of a building using an LED light
- Light painting of other objects

"The Big One" A Full Day of Tuition, a basic course as above but including practical photography
Basically the day is yours, this full day of tuition will cover all aspects of photography explaining everything. The following will be covered
- We will cover the knobs, buttons and switches of your camera
- The operation of your camera will be covered
- A full presentation of the 3 main elements of photography, F Stops, Shutter Speed and ISO
- Composition
- Relevant settings for different types of photography
- 3 hours of practical tuition

Half Day Practical Course. (Outdoors)
The practical course is by the nature of the title a day when we will be out and about. We will cover the aspects of photography that you want to cover whether that be Landscape, Moving objects or Nature to name a few, you will need
- A full understanding of your camera and the correct lenses to carry out your chosen topic (advice can be given on lenses and cameras)
- Ability to find and set the camera by using the various menus available when instructed
- Venues will be chosen to give you the best tuition for your chosen photographic topic
Please note that this half day course is not a "Settings" training day it is based on getting out there and getting satisfactory pictures to go home and work on. (This course may incur trarvelling expenses)

Half Day Lincoln Walk
The Lincoln walk takes you from the lower part of Lincoln through the various streets leading to upper Lincoln where we can delight in the ancient city capturing many images on the way, the walk can take up to 4 hours. You will need
- A good understanding of your camera (although advice will be ongoing)
- Lenses for close up photography and zoom lenses to capture the majestic Cathedral and Castle (Lens advice can be given)
- A tripod for some pictures may be an advantage but not essential
- Good walking shoes/boots as the route entails a good long walk
- Weather dependent, warm dry clothing
- Finally a good level of fitness as there is quite a climb from the lower part of Lincoln to the Cathedral quarter

Once your photographs are taken and safely on the memory card what do you do with them? this course will cover the following
- The ability to import and organise your images for easy retrieval
- Minor manipulation including cropping, brightening, sharpening etc.
- Cloning and removing unwanted items in an image
- Resizing ready for printing
- Suggestions of software programmes
- Plus much more
